I am a scientist, a writer, I am curious, a dreamer, and a realist. Sounds somewhat contradictory? Sure - but polar ends are the spice of life. It is good to explore new things, but it is equally satisfying to go back to the 'tried and trusted'. The adventurer and the couch-potato can coexist quite nicely without suffering much conflict.
Scientist, author, reader, dreamer, realist - not necessarily in that order. I like my sci-fi spiced with a hefty dose of romance.
